What is this project?
98 Women is my non-profit project for women who have emigrated and started their lives with a clean slate. When we left, we all left behind home, the familiar, the dear. At the project, we meet, share stories, talk heart to heart. Each meeting is unique and the format changes, but this remains the same — I photograph the real you. Each participant receives several professional photos from me free of charge. This is my way of supporting, hearing, and saying that you are not alone.

Black and white photography is a special love of mine. When you remove the color, you’re left with something real, unadorned and unadorned. That’s why I chose black and white for this project, although there are exceptions.
